Yesterday was Tuesday, which means a new vlogbrothers video dropped on the YouTube channel featuring John Green sharing some thoughts ... from a place!

That's right, folks! The beloved John Green vlogbrothers series Thoughts from Places makes its beautiful return. Ths time, John shared some thoughts about travel and new places and joy while spending time in Bromley, England. He was there to attend a proper English football game, his true favorite pastime (written entirely without judgment).

For those less familiar with the series (or vlogbrothers in general), Thoughts from Places pops up every now and then, usually when John is traveling somewhere familiar or new. These videos are typically vlog-style, including shots of various places and things with John's voiceover discussing the place, how it feels to be there, and usually a deeper philosophical takeaway about what it means to be alive.

Green recently discussed going on hiatus for mental health reasons, mentioning how difficult it has been for him to engage in normal everyday activities. According to this week's video, being able to travel to England to watch is favorite English football team (that's AFC Wimbledon, which his company sponsors) was a source of joy he desperately needed and appreciated.

"I was here for the hope," he says in the video. "The hope that kept Wimbledon alive when the English Football Association said our club shouldn't exist ... the hope that kept me here in hard times so that I might enjoy some football."

One of many things that make Thoughts from Places great is that John is an exceptional writer. His books aren't just successful because he's John Green; his prose flows in a way that makes it extremely easy to reach directly to your soul. To read his words is one thing. But to hear him speak them, to turn a simple trip to Bromley into a thoughtful, inspirational message of hope is another thing entirely. And it's beautiful. Truly.
