Tiltify has been a hub of charity fundraising for a decade, but this coming Friday, Jan 24, they're joining forces with many other organisations for perhaps their biggest event to date in support of LA Wildfire Relief. Reel Good Touring, organising the telethon, are no stranger to large events. As well as being behind many YouTubers' tours, the company have facilitated many large livestreams, such as Sean McLoughlin's, aka jacksepticeye's, yearly Thankmas charity event. Head of events Justin Tracey is pictured above with Sean and Ethan Nestor, both of whom have contributed or will contribute to the event, alongside many other stars, from actors to musicians.

In fact Sean has already put $100,000 towards the cause, as revealed by Tiltify's announcement post:

As you can see, the Brolin Family Foundation is matching donations to all those incredible organizations, all the way up to $500,000. Josh Brolin announced this fully on his instagram with a moving message of solidarity, urging people to donate "if you have the money to bring people from abject horror to a semi-level-headed rebuilding." Here's his whole video message.

As well as that incredible match, Josh Brolin is one of many actors to appear on the telethon. A recent Deadline article revealed that Ben Schwartz, Jean Smart and Ke Huy Quan will be part of the event, amongst many other well-known names. On the content creator side, already Markiplier, Ethan Nestor, Pokimane, Arin Hanson, The Try Guys and Rhett & Link are amongst the many involved.

The telethon will air on multiple YouTube and Twitch channels, yet to be announced, broadcasting live from Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills but also featuring talent from all over the world. Please tune in and give whatever you can to make a difference. Even a dollar donation will be two, or even more if others put their own match alongside the Brolin's. And if everyone watching donates a dollar, I'm sure the $1,000,000 campaign goal can be smashed. Head to Tiltify's site to donate and find out more.

I found out about this event through Ethan Nestor's video in the aftermath of the fires, and his Unus Annus collaborator Mark Fischbach, aka Markiplier, also shared his experiences. You can watch both below.
