In which John, naturally, discusses books.

Oh, we're still talking about books for a second day in a row? Totally fine by me. In fact, if we just continued on this trend for another hundred videos or so I would not complain for even a moment. But there are other YouTube channels for that. This is just serving as a reminder that one of the things that drew me to Vlogbrothers early on was their shared love of books -- a love I also happen to share. But maybe you knew that already. Maybe you didn't.

And these are the ever so insightful things we discuss here on Vlogbrothers Rewatch -- an ongoing daily series documenting my epic quest to rewatch every Vlogbrothers video on their YouTube channel, in order, from the very beginning. Using this playlist, every day I'm rewatching a video, sharing my thoughts, and hopefully encouraging you to do the same -- whether you're already a Nerdfighter or you are about to become one (it's never too late, after all).

Continuing the discussion of where books go (and thoughts on libraries), John makes the point in today's video that in order to make more space for book storage and display, all you really need to do is buy a new bookshelf every time you run out of space. And as someone who has bought two new bookshelves this year (and immediately filled them, sorry not sorry), I have to say that I agree. These days, for the price of about one book, you can purchase a shelf to store a whole bunch more!

Of course, many of us dream of dedicating an entire bookshelves to copies of books we ourselves have authored. But that's an entirely different conversation, one I may never be able to have from personal experience. At the end of it all, at least I still have my shelves.
