I stand corrected. In my last post, in response to John's punishment video, I made the assumption that he may not have been doing the waxing correctly. Hank has since informed me (in the form of today's video, that is) that the fault was in fact in the action itself. Chins should not be waxed. Logically, I should have known this. But I am a mere human being with a very basic knowledge of how hair removal is supposed to be done.

And on that note -- here we are once again, in another installment of Vlogbrothers Rewatch. This is an ongoing series that involves me watching every video on the Vlogbrothers channel in order from the very beginning. I'm using this playlist to embark on a day-by-day journey of rediscovering my love for the very thing that launched my personal content creation journey.

Hank spends most of this video talking about babies -- the prospect of having one, wanting his brother to have one, and wondering if having one is a real possibility. I certainly did not appreciate the contents of this video when I watched it previously, as I wasn't then seriously contemplating the prospect of expanding any sort of family. My life is very different now, though, and I find myself sharing these wants and contemplating these possibilities (or lack thereof).

I'm so happy to know that (sorry, spoilers) both of them have the families now that they wanted then. In life, especially when you're younger, you just don't know how things are going to turn out. Whether or not you're going to one day get the things you want. Sometimes you do; sometimes you don't. And sometimes, things somehow turn out better than you ever imagined they could -- even if that turnout is different than you planned.

Here's to all of us, eventually, getting what we have always dreamed of.
