Admitting that you did not meet a previously agreed upon deadline as a writer and that you are going to try to finish it by "this day, or that day at the latest" is one of the most relatable experiences a creator may encounter in a Vlogbrothers video. It's okay, John Green. Whichever book this ended up being, I'm sure it all turned out just fine. (In fact, I'm beyond certain it did.)

Well hello there! If you're new here, you've stumbled upon something truly chaotic (and that's probably a good thing). This is Day 14 of my journey into rewatching every Vlogbrothers video ever made in release order, one per day, from the very beginning. Normally for this series I use this playlist, but it should be noted that today's video never actually made it onto the playlist (or does not appear in the order it should). I had to search for it, but I've included it below for your convenience.

A happy dance! A sad dance. A song I completely forgot about, something to do with nannies and dogs? It's possible that I never saw this video in my original watchthrough (again, it's not on the playlist), unless it was later removed from the playlist on purpose. Regardless, I'm still mostly thinking about all the deadlines I myself have to meet before the end of the week. I'm totally fine, really.

The way we record videos in public really has changed -- in general many of us are much more conscious of whose faces we include in videos and whose we avoid recording altogether, but when it's 2007 and not a ton of people are watching, anything goes. Why is this song stuck in my head? I'm a little bit upset about it. Thankfully, there are even catchier tunes on this channel coming down the line in future updates.
