This week on Hot Ones: Pharrell Williams

Another episode of the hit YouTube interview series Hot Ones is scheduled to release this Thursday, and the guest for this week's episode has finally officially been announced.

This week, Pharrell Williams will join host Sean Evans at the Hot Ones table to answer spicy questions while eating increasingly spicy wings.

Pharrell Williams (most of us just call him Pharrell) is a singer, songwriter, and fashion designer. He is a 13-time Grammy Award winner and currently serves as Louis Vuitton's Men's creative director. Most likely know him from his work on the first two Despicable Me movies (you've heard "Happy" whether you know it or not).

On October 11, an animated documentary film about Pharrell's life and career, called Piece by Piece, is set to release in the United States. The story will be told using Lego animation and includes five original songs written by Williams.

For anyone unfamiliar with the format and style of Hot Ones, the free YouTube-based series, now in its 25th season, is an interview-style show that invites celebrity guests on to answer questions and simultaneously eat hot wings.

The "catch" with this series is that everything gets more intense the longer the interview goes on. Not just the questions Evans asks his guests, but also the heat of the wings after each question. No one wins anything if they make it to the end of the interview (meaning they can somehow tolerate the hottest of hot sauces). But they do get to talk more about themselves, and the audience does get to learn a little more about them. Everyone wins! Unless you don't like hot sauce. Then you might have an uncomfortable time.
