Each Hot Ones guest brings something particularly unique to the show's table. Many guests have particular talents and interests that make for very good conversation. Others give memorable interviews because they make people laugh for a living. Ken Jeong. who is this week's celebrity guest on the iconic YouTube series, will likely bring laughs, interesting facts, and so, so much more.
Ken Jeong is an actor and standup comedian best known for his roles in The Hangover movies and NBC's Community. He has also appeared in Crazy Rich Asians, Knocked Up, and The Duff. He is a licensed physician and created, wrote, and produced the Dr. Ken TV series on ABC. He doesn't practice medicine anymore because his main focus is on his acting career, which has made him quite successful on the big and small screens.
For those unfamiliar with the unique Hot Ones format, let's break it down slowly. With each new episode airing exclusively on YouTube, host and interviewer Sean Evans invites a celebrity guest onto the show to answer questions and eat hot wings. The two things occur simultaneously (the interview and the hot wing consumption). The catch is that with each new question comes a new round -- and each new round involves a slightly hotter hot sauce.
Both the questions and the wings get spicier as the interview goes on. There are two ways all this comes to an end: Either the guest taps out when they can no longer handle the heat, or they somehow, miraculously, make it to the final question. You never know which one it's going to be. That's what makes it fun!
