A lot about The Try Guys has changed over the past several years, but there are a few key things that haven't. One of those is the team's popular YouTube series Without a Recipe -- just what it sounds like; a cooking competition show where contestants attempt to make food without following a recipe. Fans were excited to learn that the series will return next month -- but this time with a twist.

It's being called the "elimination season" -- much like in the style of more traditional cooking competition shows, if a contestant lands at the bottom of the pack in an episode, they're out. For the entire rest of the season. This will add a new element to the series -- not only will they compete to be the best; they'll compete so they can continue competing.

Ever since The Try Guys expanded 2nd try into an entire cast of people (rather than a core three or four members), the possibilities for new shows as well as new series formats have skyrocketed. Without a Recipe: Kitchen Madness is a great example of how the team can now scale up production much more because they have a bigger cast to experiment with.

Despite the new format, there is no doubt the show will have the same humor and excitement it has had from the beginning. Cooking and especially baking without a recipe is almost never going to go well, which leads to moments of terror, chaos, surprise, and triumph. Things don't go according to plan because there isn't a plan. And that's what makes the series one of their best. And the wait for the next episode isn't even that far away.

The first part of the new Without a Recipe season will release on November 1, and the second will release later in the month, on November 22.
