After a special season of Without a Recipe -- which featured an entire cast of contestants rather than four competing each episode -- a live special similar to streams of the past is airing once again following the championship.
The Without a Recipe Live "Revenge Special" is set to air next week exclusively for 2nd try subscribers. It will feature the championship's losers in a competition to see who can come back from the bottom and declare themselves a winner.
According to comment responses on the Instagram post above, those with Try Guys YouTube memberships (who pay to get the same content as 2nd try app subscribers) will also have access to the stream. Additionally, once it airs live, paying subscribers on both YouTube and the 2nd try app will be able to watch the recording later if viewing live isn't an option (or they just want to watch it again -- and again and again).
The most recent season of Without a Recipe is probably one of the best yet, with the bracket and elimination elements adding a fresh level of stakes to the competition. It was also nice to see different contestants competing with one another rather than the same four each week. My only personal complaint was that the season was too short! But I'm still grateful for what we got, since it was also nice to see them making recipes I also didn't recognize for once.
At this point, I have no idea who might "win" the losers championship. And that's going to make the whole thing even more exciting. (That, and not having to watch the stream on my laptop like the past two years.)
Without a Recipe Live "Revenge Special" will air live on 2nd try on Wednesday, December 18 at 6 p.m. PST / 9 p.m. EST.
