Viewers who want to support The Try Guys financially can still enjoy the extra perks of subscribing to "2nd try" without having to leave the platform for a separate app.

The 2nd try subscription service was first announced in May 2024 along with the news that one of the remaining three members of the team was leaving for good. As part of the original announcement, it was specified that Try Guys content would still be uploaded to YouTube -- but 2nd try subscribers would get it much earlier, uncensored, ad-free.

However, on June 26, The Try Guys revealed a different way to enjoy the perks of paying for 2nd try without having to download and use a different app to do it.

"We know a lot of you prefer to watch us on YouTube but still want the perks of 2nd try," the post on X said. "So this one's for you!"

With a YouTube Membership on The Try Guys YouTube channel, viewers can access everything 2nd try subscribers get -- from early releases without ads and exclusive shows that only paid viewers can watch.

The Try Guys aren't the first content creators to launch their own subscription service, and it's likely that if 2nd try proves successful, even more large channels and accounts will follow a similar formula in the months and years to come. With so many creators publishing videos, many aren't making the money from platforms and ad revenue that they need to stay afloat. And with popular membership sites like Patreon taking a percentage of every dollar creators earn, a subscription model seems moore and more appealing.

With a service like 2nd try, viewers can contribute their money directly to the creators behind the service for a set fee just like someone would pay for Netflix or Hulu. This means creators don't have to rely on ad revenue, which can be inconsistent and difficult to manage.

To support 2nd try directly on YouTube, head to The Try Guys YouTube channel or click on any of their videos and look for the "Join" button to get started. a YouTube Membership on their channel currently costs $4.99 per month.
