This week on Hot Ones: David Beckham

Soccer (sorry, football, but not the American kind) legend David Beckham is the guest on this week's episode of Hot Ones, and it's definitely an episode you won't want to miss.

On a special episode of the show, host Sean Evans invited Beckham on to do what most guests on the show do: Answer a bunch of questions while eating spicy hot wings.

For those who might be unfamiliar with Hot Ones, here's a quick rundown for you. The YouTube-exclusive series, produced by First We Feast and hosted by Evans, is a long-running interview series where celebrity guests are invited to eat spicy hot wings while answering questions about their lives, careers, and more.

The catch is that with each new round of questions, the wings get hotter. The interview ends once the guest is no longer able to consume wings due to their spiciness. Making it to the final round of the interview, therefore, is often a major feat and typically quite entertaining, especially if the guest doesn't do well with heat.

Beckham admitted at the beginning of the interview that he was nervous, and that his wife was worried about him coming onto the show to eat hot wings. But he did a great job (no spoilers), and as usual, Evans asked a number of insightful and thought-provoking questions throughout the video.

Evans has a unique interview style that doesn't follow the usual format of your typical network talk show. He isn't interested in asking celebrities questions they have been asked a thousand times, and skips over common knowledge most people might already know about a particular guest. This allows for interesting and memorable conversations many celebrities don't get to have when they make appearances like these.
