A TikTok creator is begging the app to stop demonetizing her account -- especially since she has seemingly done nothing to warrant the action.

The creator, who goes by Andra, posted a TikTok video claiming that she continuously gets her account demonetized and removed from the creator program for seemingly no reason. And she has noticed a pattern with these occurrences.

"They kick me out [of the creator program] every time I start doing super well and getting a ton of views," she said, showing screenshots of the number of views she's getting but not making money off of.

Seemingly every time she gets a higher than normal amount of views, her account loses the ability to make money off those views -- even though there are no actual strikes on her account.

"We need to get together and unionize or something," she continued, noting that she isn't the only creator on the app having similar issues. "I have bills to pay."

Many creators across the app have claimed to receive messages about their accounts being at risk or about specific videos violating community guidelines without any evidence to explain the alleged violations.

In the comments of the original video, many have speculated that TikTok does this on purpose when a creator starts making "too much" money off the app. The creator program pays eligible creators for their content, and many believe that it will pay -- but that it doesn't want to pay a lot. So when someone posts a viral video, it's possible TikTok will block their ability to make money from it.

Even if she does get her account back in the program, she's already lost out on a lot of money -- money she was depending on to survive. And if she isn't the only one, that says a lot about whether or not TikTok really cares about its creators.
