Hank Green encourages U.S. followers to vote in latest video

First and foremost, brothers John and Hank Green have always been about educating the masses. Even though many of their videos are silly and relatable, many of them are also about providing useful or interesting information to both followers and non-followers. This is especially true in election years in the United States, when many content creators take the time to encourage their audiences to register to vote and vote at the polls (or by mail!).

The United States presidential election (and other coinciding elections) are coming up next month. Per usual, Green is dedicated some of his content creation leading up to the event to educating the internet not only on how voting works, but also on how to vote in general.

Though Green spends the majority of the video discussing how the order o candidates listed on ballots is determined, he also makes sure to tell people exactly how to check their voter registration, where to find sample ballots, and how to vote on or before election day in November.

He also encourages anyone who is able to vote by mail -- it's easy; all you do is fill out a form, receive your ballot at your home address, fill it out on your own time, and mail it back before voting closes. This offers voters the chance to take their time, research candidates and any other applicable points, and make the best choices possible with less barrier to entry. Plus you don't have to wait in line, which is great unless you like doing that I suppose.
