Hank and John Green's latest reunion video imagines a world where they are gods

It gets much more philosophical than you'd expect.

If you were God for 15 minutes, what would you immediately change? This is the question Hank and John Green lightheartedly explore in their latest Vlogbrothers reunion video. (They've been together a lot lately, and that's truly delightful.)

Of course things get philosophical. Of course they get a little silly. It wouldn't be a Vlogbrothers reunion video otherwise. We wouldn't have it any other way. From making everyone four feet tall to possibly eliminating the need for wars, some of these fast-paced conversations might make you think. And there's nothing wrong with that.

These are the kinds of Vlogbrothers videos that truly showcase what the Green brothers and the community they've built are all about -- the ability to think deeply about the world while still finding a way to have fun. I love Hank's deep dives into big topics and John's Thoughts From Places as much as anyone. But the world is chaotic and growing even more unsteady it seems, and sometimes what we need most is to take five minutes out of our day to imagine and create and laugh.

I got to attend one of the Turtles All the Way Down tour stops when the book came out, and there was something truly special about getting to see these two together on stage having a good time. I'm not sure if there will ever be another opportunity quite like that again, but videos like these do capture a similar sort of magic that makes you feel like you're in the room (even when you aren't).

Don't ask me what I would do with 15 minutes of god powers. I would spend most of that time brainstorming ideas on a napkin and never actually accomplish anything. But it's something to think about, if that's the sort of thing you're into doing for fun.
