Hank and John Green: Better together

You may not remember every single vlogbrothers video ever made, but that's OK. Brothers Hank and John Green, the content creators behind the long-running YouTube channel, don't remember everything either.

Which is why last week's Friday video -- another reunion video to follow up last Tuesday's bone marrow donation registry video -- forced both Greens to look back at some of the most obscure videos they've ever made.

In the video, Hank challenged John to a game. Given 10 separate titles, could Joh determine which were the titles of vlogbrothers videos and which were completely made up? Outright, John said he believed he could get every single answer correct.

The given titles ended up being a mix of old John vlogbrothers video titles, random quotes, and slightly altered titles of actual videos that existed. John ended up getting every single question right, which at first might seem unfair. But he has made about half of all vlogbrothers videos from the very beginning. Even if he doesn't remember every single one ever made, perhaps a vlogbrothers video title isn't too hard to spot once you know what they look like.

Admittedly, this video is not doing much to dampen my desire to rewatch all vlogbrothers videos from the very beginning. The last time I did that, I was about to start grad school and didn't know what else to do with the free time I had before classes began. Now I'm a real adult with a job and a mortgage and, you know, other responsibilities.

But the nostalgia calls to me. That's how they get you, you know. Hank and John Green always know exactly what they're doing. I will have to resist my rewatch desire for now, but I suppose that doesn't mean I'll never do it again in the future.
