Ben Schwartz returning to Game Grumps in December

Calling all, lovelies! A new Guest Grumps is on the horizon! This time, it will be the return of a fan favorite guest.

Announcing on his Twitter account, actor Ben Schwartz shared that he will return to the Let's Play show in December. His tweet states, "The gamies will grumpies once again. Coming at ya in December, just in time for #SonicMovie3. We do not play Final Fantasy… even tho it’s a top 5 game of mine. BUT I do complete another game. And the music in it will drive you crazy."

The official Game Grumps Twitter account retweeted the news with happy face emojis, something that all Grump fans are probably feeling at this point.

That is because Schwartz is a fan favorite Guest Grump. He's been on the show three times playing the games Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Aladdin, and Quiplash which is part of The Jackbox Party Pack 3. This Guest Grumps spot in December would tie him with two other guests, being Interview with the Vampire's Jacob Anderson and streamer Wilbur Soot. However, we don't know at this time how many episodes Schwartz recorded for, so this stint on Guest Grumps might move him into the lead.

Anderson got a special animated Game Grumps head for his opening episodes. Maybe Schwartz will get one as well!

It's not a surprise to see Schwartz on the Grumps, as it falls around the time when Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will premiere on December 20. Hosts Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan are big fans of the Sonic franchise, so this promotion for the film is a perfect match.

As both a Sonic and a Game Grumps fan, I'm incredibly excited to see the return of Ben Schwartz to the show. Now, we'll have to wait and see which game the trio play together.
